About Comscore
Comscore is an audience measurement company, not a listening tool, and that distinction decides whether it belongs on your shortlist at all. It is a public company (Nasdaq: SCOR) with $357.5m of 2025 revenue and more than 1,200 staff, and what it sells is currency: national and local TV across all 210 US markets, digital audience measurement, box office through Comscore Movies, and programmatic targeting through Proximic. The social line arrived with the 2021 Shareablee acquisition and now ships as Content Pulse and Data Explorer, covering content performance, actions, audience affinity and influencer partnerships across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok, over a taxonomy the vendor puts at 20 million brands, publishers and creators in more than 70 countries. You can search social content by keyword and watch what is trending across earned and owned media. What you cannot do is run a Boolean query, receive a mention feed, set an alert or read a sentiment score, because none of that is in the published feature set. If you need to know how a campaign performed, this is real. If you need to know what people are saying about you, look elsewhere.
