Every platform we track

78 social listening and media monitoring tools, with pricing read off each vendor's own page — plus the tier limits, counting methods and per-vendor terminology nobody else publishes.

What “searches”, “mentions” and “keywords” actually mean Read this first

Vendors use different words for the same thing, and the same word for different things. These are the equivalencies the table below is normalised against:

Searches / Queries / Topics

The input: what you're monitoring. A Boolean string or keyword set defining which conversations to track.

Mentions / Results

The output: individual posts, articles or comments matching your criteria. Usually capped monthly.

Keywords

Tags applied to mentions within a campaign, for analytics, report filtering and alerts.

Lookback Period

How far back you can search history. Some platforms cap by time rather than by mention count.

“Verified” means we read the figure off the vendor's public pricing page and recorded the date. “Undisclosed” means the vendor publishes no pricing at all. Open any platform for its full record.
