Mediastow is a Dubai media monitoring agency rather than a self-serve platform, and the distinction is the whole point: what it sells is Arabic print and broadcast clipped, translated and summarised by analysts, delivered through its emediasearch.com portal. Print monitoring runs OCR across thousands of newspaper and magazine titles and generates close to 5,000 clippings a day on the vendor's own figure; broadcast uses speech-to-text across hundreds of satellite TV and radio channels in Arabic, English and French, covering fourteen named countries from Morocco to Iraq. You can order English summaries of Arabic clippings, or a clipping book on disc or in print — line items almost nobody else in this catalogue offers. Work is scoped on a client brief as ad-hoc press release monitoring, a fixed-term project or an ongoing retainer, with a proposal promised inside one working day. Two things to weigh before you shortlist: the reports lead on AVE, which AMEC — of which Mediastow is a full member — formally rejects; and the digital side is built on a licensed engine, not an in-house one.
