About Kinetiq
Kinetiq is a television measurement company rather than a listening tool, and the difference decides whether it belongs on your shortlist at all. It was formed in 2019 when 4C Insights took a stake in iQ Media and folded in Teletrax, and what it sells is brand detection on air: automated logo recognition in the picture, brand terms picked out of closed captions, and watermarking plus fingerprinting to follow a piece of content across networks. The vendor figures are 32,000 brands and 550,000 indexed ads across 1,600 US channels and all 210 DMAs, with fingerprint detection in 85+ countries. Buying Veil Global Technologies in October 2025 added audio watermarking and pushed the claimed network to 30,000+ channels in 120+ countries, though the product pages still quote the older number. Attribution links TV exposure to digital traffic and purchases through household IP matching and smart TV data, and media values arrive through Nielsen and SQAD rather than an in-house model. Online and social exist in the copy but carry no published source counts. There is no pricing page, no trial and no self-serve signup.
