About TVEyes
TVEyes is the broadcast search engine most American comms teams have actually used, founded in 1999 and still independent, and it does the one thing most of the social listening field cannot: it records television and radio, transcribes the audio with speech-to-text, and lets you search the words. Coverage is US first across all 210 DMAs, extended to more than 50 countries and 43 languages, with 70,000 podcasts and 16,000 online video channels added since 2021. You get near real time alerts on Watchterms, unlimited clip downloads, Nielsen-sourced audience figures and ad filtering that separates paid from earned. Two things to read before you sign. The 2018 Second Circuit ruling in Fox News v. TVEyes ended the unrestricted watch and redistribute model, and the terms now confine clips to internal research and analysis, so no posting them on your own site and no rebroadcast. And the subscription auto-renews unless you give sixty days written notice. Pricing is quote-only, scoped by users, regions and volume, across three named packages: Focus, Vantage and Apex.
