About Propel

Propel sells PR relationship management, a category label it coined itself: a CRM-shaped pipeline for pitching journalists, run through your own Gmail or Outlook inbox with open and reply tracking, so pitches come from your address rather than a bulk sender. Around that sit a journalist database the vendor puts at 500,000-plus contacts, with pitch preferences and best-time-to-contact signals per journalist, AI writing (PropeLLM, launched as the Amiga assistant in 2023) that the vendor says is trained on 25 million real pitches, and a monitoring module covering online news, social and broadcast with sentiment and share of voice. Monitoring is plainly the side module: alerts are capped at 10, 25 or 50 by plan while contacts and pitches are unlimited. Founded in 2017 by Zach Cutler after he sold his New York agency; HQ in Tel Aviv with teams in New York, London and Miami; customers named include Microsoft, NPR and the US Air Force. Two cautions: pricing is fully demo-gated (the pricing page names three tiers and their seat caps but no numbers), and the move from propelmypr.com to propel-ai.com left debris, including another company's FAQ text on a product page.
