About Chatmeter
Chatmeter is a multi-location reputation platform rather than a social listening tool, and the difference decides whether it belongs on your list at all. It keeps business listings accurate across 140+ directories with direct API partnerships to Google, Apple Maps, Bing and Yelp, builds SEO landing pages for every branch, collects and answers reviews at scale, and rolls the lot into a Local Brand Visibility score built from reviews, social, listings, search and competitors. The analytical layer is Pulse AI, whose Signals module takes plain-language questions and answers them from reviews, surveys and social comments, including the photographs customers attach to reviews, which very few rivals read at all. Competitive Intelligence, added in July 2025, maps the same picture against rival locations by city and region. Pricing is per location with unlimited users, quoted only, on an annual contract. Two things to weigh. Alchemer acquired Chatmeter in September 2025 and G2 already lists the product as Alchemer Reputation Management, so the name you sign may not be the name you renew. And despite the AEO material on its blog, nothing here tracks your brand inside AI assistants.

Best For
- Primary audience
- Multi-location brands that own physical sites: restaurants, retail chains, healthcare groups, financial services branches, automotive dealers, local and professional services, and multi-family housing operators. If you are buying to watch a conversation rather than to fix listings and answer reviews across hundreds of storefronts, this is the wrong shelf.
- Regional focus
- North America first, from San Diego
